Production Blog: Creative Troubles Final Task
Hello, and welcome to my third production blog for my final task project. Collaboration is still an integral component of our pre-production and actual filming days for the final task. Always has been. However, collaboration doesn't always flow smoothly. Bumps in the road always occur. What matters is how you react to them. A major cause of these so-called bumps has been the storyboard. Specifically how directly it should direct how our film flows. I have mainly directed and mediated discussions between members. The discussion has now reached a point of semi-acceptance. The final stage of grieving. We are understanding the true reality of the situation. We are only student filmmakers, and some scenes we are familiar with are simply not possible. I have also assisted in this pre-filming discussion, mainly trying to keep the ambition high while also balancing reality acceptance. Most of these talks do not take place in person, happening virtually. In other news, we have the location essentially locked. We have decided on Logan's house as our filming location, at least for some interior scenes. We need a location where the president is kidnapped, and this is essentially perfect. His garage is perfect, and I have confirmed this area. All in all, we disagree but also make great progress.
